A Woman's Perspective ~ Home Plan Makeover
Tresha found her ideal home plan; she made a few tweaks and now it’s perfect!
Homeowner's Profile: Tresha is a stay-at-home mom with two active sons, ages 7 and 4. She and her husband are building on a circle so their boys can play in front of their home with friends and
neighbors. Tresha wanted to have the kitchen at the front of the home so she can have visual contact with the boys during outside play.

Modifications Tresha made to the Kelvington, #5463:
- Flipped the kitchen from the back to the front of the home.
- Created a hearth room at the back of the home.
- Created a larger eating space with room for a hutch on one wall.
- Enlarged the garage to 21’ x 24’.
- Converted the covered porch to a master closet, freeing up space for a drop zone and a half bath at the rear foyer.
- On the upper level, enlarged the bath and one secondary bedroom.
- Added linen space upstairs.
